Lead Infant Teacher

My name is Britney Jeffries. I am 33 years old. I have four children of my own; 3 boys and one girl with the girl being the youngest.  I grew up in a child care background.  My grandmother had a daycare in her home for many years.  Then, my Mother followed in her footsteps, which made my love for kids grow and I decided to get into the field.  I've worked in my family's child care centers and a few other centers in Jacksonville, Fl.  I love the infants the most because I feel that those are the most precious years.  Being an infant teacher involves caring for and supervising them, and providing them with a safe and nurturing environment so that they can have strong development and learning abilities.  I also love to make an impact on their lives and I love when parents feel very comfortable knowing their kids are in great hands!

I have been in the child care field for eight years and I love every second of it! I enjoy seeing the smiles on the children's faces when I interact with them or when they grasp a concept that I have taught them.  I love to sing and dance as well as write poetry.

My name is Wanda Maynard and I am the Lead Teacher in the Toddler's class. I started working at TCA in 2004. I received my credentials 1 & 2 at GTCC and I am learning from the best teacher anyone can ever have and his name is Jesus. He has taught me that the only way I can be the best teacher I can be is to let him teach through me. By doing so, I know that your child will get what he/she needs. I love spending time with my Jesus and family. I love children, reading the bible, tennis, bowling, arts/crafts, writing stories, singing, and music. I was named parent of the year twice at Williamsburg Head Start in Reidsville, NC. One of my favorite bible verses is: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." -Philippians 4:13.

Hello, my name is Cyntiqua also known as Ms. Tika. I am the co-teacher to Mrs. Vanessa in Preschool I. I am excited to take on a new journey in child care. My goal is to make every child feel like they're at home while being away from home. I have 2 children, Rickey and Halo, who also attend TCA. I look forward to meeting and caring for your child as if they were my own.

Hello! My name is Ms. Linda. I have 2 children; a son named Austin who is 22 and a daughter named Kayla who is 20.  I recently relocated back to Greensboro, NC and I'm excited about this new journey.  I can't wait to experience all the doors God is about to open up for me, starting with this opportunity to teach and expand the minds of these children.  My favorite bible verse is Phil. 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me".

Hi! I'm Carolyn "Ms. Lynne" Young. First, I'll say that I'm super excited about being the Pre-K teacher at Triad Christian Academy for the past 5 years. I've done in-home child care as well as worked in childcare centers and Guilford County County Schools as a BSA/Inclusion Facilitator for 15 years. I have 45 years of experience working with children. I'm eternally grateful for the opportunity to educate, nurture, and instruct my preschoolers in academics. But most of all about God and his goodness!
